About Dr Helen Xia
She graduated from Hubei Traditional Chinese Medicine University, advanced to gain her medical Master degree at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. As a heir to Famous Professor Xia Youzhou, she got lots of secrets In clinical success. She worked in Huazhong University of Science and Technology affiliated Wuhan Union Hospital for many year in teaching, research and clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine. And she was promoted to a senior academic post eventually.
She was the former Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Medicine Gastroenterology Professional Committee and also prestigious members of other Hubei Provincial Committees. Dr Xia contributed chapters in the 《Traditional Chinese Medicine Tumor Prevention and Treatment》as the deputy editor and published by the Science and Technology Literature Publishing House, and 《Chinese Medicine Hepatobiliary Diseases》& 《Practical Chinese Medicine Cardiology》and many more.
Dr Xia is currently a fellow of the ATCM, Vice President of Hubei University of Chinese Medicine European Alumni Association, Deputy Secretary-General of Overseas Chinese Medicine Forum.
About Ms Yin Wu
Her professional life began in 1986 at Ningbo Medical College in China. In 2017, she further pursued education in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at SHULAN College of Chinese Medicine in the UK. She served as a lecturer at Ninghai Medical College and later as the editor-in-chief of a prominent health column in the media. Over the past decade, she had practiced TCM including Acupuncture at various clinics in London, accumulating first-hand clinical experience and gaining insight into the application of TCM in modern times, particularly its effectiveness in treating various types of pain, skin conditions, depression, and infertility, as well as aiding the recovery and maintenance of many cancer patients.
About Mr Edgar Chan
He is a professional Chinese Medicine practitioner holding a bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, China. His academic journey has provided him with a profound understanding of traditional healing practices, with a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine and various Chinese Medicine therapies such as Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, Tuina, and Gua Sha
As an intern doctor in The Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou, China, Mr. Chan has completed rotations in a wide array of medical specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopaedics, and emergency medicine. These hands-on experiences have not only equipped him with invaluable practical knowledge but also fostered the development of a comprehensive skill set in diagnosing and treating diverse medical conditions.
Mr. Chan's dual exposure to both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine has instilled in him an unwavering commitment to delivering personalized and holistic care to each patient he encounters. He is enthusiastic about furthering his knowledge and expertise to positively impact the health and well-being of individuals within his community.
